Heorot presents attic show with Bonesetters, Everthus the Deadbeats
The Heorot will host an upstairs attic show this weekend with former and present local bands hitting the second floor stage. Both headlining bands, The Bonesetters and Everthus the Deadbeats, have seen recent line-up changes, which have seemed to fare well amongst their fans.
“We’ve just gotten tighter and a lot louder from what I’ve heard,” the Bonesetters’ lead vocalist Dan Snodgrass said. “Joey Morrow just joined us within the past two weeks and his drumming has helped us out tremendously with getting louder and that works in conjunction with Sam’s [Shafer] guitar.”
The Bonesetters recently won third place at Battle of the Bands, a 24-band 12-week competition featured on Wednesdays at Doc’s Music Hall. The Bonesetters also recently played the Haiti Relief Show presented by New Noise Entertainment at Solution Ramp Park. The show will be the debut of World’s Greatest Comeback and a return for Everthus the Deadbeats, who haven’t played in Muncie since last October.
“I’m really looking forward to seeing [Everthus], especially with their new line-up changes,” Snodgrass said. “Over the years they’ve grown, especially with Lisa [Berlin] and Benny [Sanders] leaving, they were able to fill those roles and create a different sound than what they were making that still sounds like Deadbeats.”
