Sometimes looking at my boyfriend surprises me. I'll see him in a different light. It?s not bad, it?s just a reminder of how we used to be before we got serious. Before we got so comfortable with each other that we don?t know any better than to be joined at the hip. I love those moments. They make me think, ?Wow! How did we get here?? Looking at his face now is natural, expected and provokes different emotions than it used to. The beginning of a ?what practically is a relationship? there is so much uncertainty. That giddy feeling is still there. I?ve now reached a place where I can?t imagine not being with him. We do everything together, and it?s perfect. Every now and then though, out of nowhere, I?ll see his face from what I would describe as a step back, without so much familiarity and so many emotions tied to it. I always used to tell myself whenever I had a crush on a guy, that if it?s meant to be, it will happen. Now that I?m there, I believe it even more. It?s just a funny world how these things do come to be.
